What's better than a burrito? A free—or, at least, discounted—one.
And with today being "National Burrito Day," satisfying a craving might be easy to find. Restaurants all over the U.S. offer specials to celebrate the Mexican staple.
Moe’s Southwest Grill will offer free burritos, bowls and more to its rewards members. App-holders have the chance to win a free year of burritos. El Pollo Loco, a similar offer, is hosting a “3 Day Burrito Block Party”, with giveaways through Friday.
Qdoba offers a “Burrito Insurance”, which allows customers to get a burrito, or bowl, for free with the purchase an entree and a drink.
Chipotle’s (CMG’s) promotion is a little more interactive. It’s bringing the “Burrito Vault”, a game that can earn players “BOGO burrito codes” if they complete an online word game. Some players can get free burritos every year, while rewards members receive free delivery. (Some burrito and crypto fans may be disappointed that this company hasn’t revived a previous bitcoin give-away.)
Deals are also being offered to those who do not eat at restaurants. Yesway, a Texas-based convenience store chain, offers its rewards members a drink and burrito for $1.99.
If you like a beer with your burrito, we have good news and bad news: National Beer Day is coming up, but it's not until April 7.
